Stavros Flatley Wow Warrington!

Cockhedge Shopping Park in Warrington proved it had talent this weekend as it welcomed some very specials guests – Stavros Flatley!

The father and son duo from Britain's Got Talent impressed the crowds of Saturday shoppers with their unique take on Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance and stayed to sign autographs for the crowd.

The fun kicked off at 1pm with a DJ from Wire FM broadcasting live from the centre. Dancers from the Shootin' Star Dance Academy in Warrington warmed up the crowd with two fantastic performances. The groups performed two routines - one to Britney Spears 'Radar' and another to Alexandra Burke 'Bad Boys'. Becky Williams from the dance school commented, "All the kids are really excited to be performing in front of such a great crowd at Cockhedge. They all loved watching Stavros on Britain's Got Talent and are thrilled to be performing on the same stage as them!"

Demi Demetriou from Stavros Flatley says he and son Lagi enjoyed their day, "We had a great time today at Cockhedge and we received a fantastic welcome from the shoppers. We love performing and are having a great time travelling all over the country and meeting so many people."

There will be more great family entertainment at the centre this month with the Cheshire Chord Choir performing on Saturday 12th December from 12noon and Santa's Little Helper will be visiting on Saturday 19th December from 11am- 4pm to give out balloons. Best of all this fantastic entertainment is completely free!
